Need help with a game quest or a boss battle? We invite you to join our Community Forum. If you need anything, this will be the place to look for it. Cant run the game decently or cant run it at all? News from Strands of Destiny!

Strands of Destiny's first newsletter has launched, and with it a detailed look at the team, the mod, and the future. A few tidbits:

Mod Development News

"Development continues on schedule, baring the slight delay of Djinni. There is more than enough work to accomplish outside the toolset to even be worried. Between concept sketches, 3D models, music, and story, we have kept very busy."...We expect a launch of the Prologue and Act in a beta format on July 31st. Each Act will then be launched every three months, with a final release in Q3 2009.

CONTEST!

The Strands of Destiny modding team is hosting two contests for the community, each which will provide fans to give a lasting impression on the mod itself.

The first contest is: create a new monster for Geralt to kill. The best monster chosen by the team will be added into the mod.

The second contest is: write a story about The Witcher and the world Geralt lives in. The two best stories chosen by the team will be added into the mod as books player's can find and purchase.
