This young-looking alchemist and soft master has many dojos throughout the islands of Temeria. Though his shrines are often desecrated, he smiles when informed of the fact and merely comments, "It is the way of Art to express upon inspiration". His followers have given Anarchos many names: "Flash A", "A Script", "A Prime", "Art J Flash", "Mojo A Script", to name a few. Utterance of any of these honorifics gives a karma boost once per day, but only if used while practicing the Art of Flash.
Anarchos had nearly mastered Flash as a soft style while mortal, but was struck by fate as the lord of Upgrades found Anarchos and denied him use of his Art. Anarchos then proclaimed: "For thousands of years I have walked these realms as a whisper, a rumor, a ghost. Now the time that was foretold has arrived. May all the gods forgive me for all the sins that have come before, but I’m afraid it’s going to get a lot worse before I'm done."
Anarchos was weakened to the brink of death, and pronounced his wisdom to a small crowd who had been training under Anarchos: "Let not art master you, but let art guide you to mastery- Flash is not a style, it is a tool for your own soul to express its style." His breath ceased, but the Monkey King was listening and heard the wisdom of Anarchos’ Flash Style.
The Monkey King revealed himself to the small crowd, and proclaimed Anarchos of Flash to be a legend in his own time. His karma had given far more than Anarchos could ever receive in one lifetime, and must grow into as many lifetimes as it was required to spread the word of Flash to all who would be willing to listen and grow their Art. For Flash was nothing alone: it must be shared to others to grow the soul’s style.
Anarchos breathed once more, but now saw Flash as a tool and possibly a weapon to fight oppression of the Proprietors. The Proprietors had dominated the Islands for so long, none dared challenge them. But now, Flash was an Art which could express through all their hoary platforms. Anarchos then said: ’It has been said that some of the Gods fear what will happen soon. Don’ leave yet, because it might just happen to you. And if I save you, who will you save?"
Anarchos took another form, that day. That of a mercenary: one who for money…. would work for anyone. Though his shrines (covered in Art, to this day) and his worshippers suspected he still roamed the lands, he became an Agent of Art amongst the Proprietors. Thus it is written, thus it is drawn: know the Art of Flash, and you will find the expression of your soul’s style.
Perhaps Anarchos will find you and guide you to the Art of Flash. But to seek him is to lose him: seek rather the Art… and perhaps an Agent will come and offer to learn from your path. For the last wisdom of the Art of Flash is thus: those who teach-learn; those who learn, teach.
This is the Word. Listen, understand, learn.
